As part of the 2017 Eel Festival Weekend, Oliver Cromwell’s House hosted several highly successful and wonderfully received “An Audience with….” Events featuring Jane Devonshire and Theo Randall. 2018 sees the return of these events, with a name change to reflect the more relaxed atmosphere and presentation of these “In Conversation With…” events.

Brian Turner is one of Britain’s most well-known chefs having trained at Simpson’s in the Strand, The Savoy and Claridge’s.  He has had a string of restaurants and is now the President of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts which he has combined with a successful career as a TV personality. Having been on the first ever Ready Steady Cook Show Turner served 14 and a half years on the very successful programme as well as many appearances on This Morning, Saturday Kitchen etc as well as his own shows  'A Taste of Britain’ and ‘My Life on a Plate.’


He was awarded a CBE for his services to tourism and training in the catering industry and continues to play an active role to encourage people to get back into the kitchen and enjoy cooking. 


Tickets are priced at £10 and the event will feature conversational discussion with Brian, before opening up to questions from the audience. This event promises to be truly unique and memorable
